We ship by Priority Mail International (PMI air mail) using flat-rate envelopes; the cost for each envelope is $12.25 to Canada or Mexico, and $14.25 to most other countries. One envelope will hold up to 8 yards of regular 44" - 45" wide cotton fabric; a little less if you're buying wide fabrics. The same envelope will hold up to four yards of heavier fabric, such as "cotton duck", canvas, or flannel. If you're ordering more than will fit in one envelope, we'll send it in multiple envelopes. Our shopping cart is configured to determine how many envelopes you need, and you will be charged accordingly. Please note that PMI flat-rate envelopes are NOT trackable, regardless of anything that you may have read on the USPS website! This means that once your package has left our hands, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that we can do to find out where it is.

Though it sounds strange, it actually costs less to ship several flat-rate envelopes, than it would to send everything all in one parcel where the cost of shipping depends on the weight of the package.

The price we charge for shipping just includes the cost of sending your package. Your country may charge Customs fees and/or duty and taxes; these will be collected in your country when the package is delivered. All international shipments must be accompanied by a customs form. We are required by law to list the contents of international shipments and the value. We will not falsify official documents by declaring them as gifts, or by reducing the stated value. Find out why. Delivery times in our experience are about 7 business days to reach Canada and Europe, and about 10 business days for Australia and Japan. This is just the time it takes to reach its destination county; please allow extra time for the package to clear Customs and be delivered by your local Postal Service. From what our customers have told us, it usually takes 2-3 weeks for a package to be delivered to their homes.

Customers in France, Spain, and Italy: please note that it can take much longer - up to 8 weeks - for packages to be delivered to your country.

Customers in Brazil and Slovenia: we only ship via Express Mail International (EMI). Each flat-rate envelope costs $28.95 and it will hold up to 8 yards of regular 44" -45" wide cotton fabric; a little less if you're buying wide fabrics. The same envelope will hold up to four yards of heavier fabric, such as "cotton duck", canvas, or flannel. If you're ordering more than will fit in one envelope, we'll send it in multiple envelopes. Our shopping cart is configured to determine how many envelopes you need, and you will be charged accordingly. Packages sent by EMI are trackable through www.usps.com.
